History
Halls Cleaners was started in 1958 by my father, Jack Mynatt. In 1963, when Maynardville Hwy was four lanes, the business moved to its current location. Since then three additions have been made to the building over the years. I came to join the business in 1981, and we will continue to be an American family owned business.
Robbins Cleaners was built in the early 1930’s and is one of the oldest if not the oldest business in Fountain City. My mother worked there in the 1950’s when she met my dad.
